Hannah Murfet,

Adjusting to parenthood can be so hard. Often times, we end up giving everything we have- physically, mentally and emotionally- without stopping to care for ourselves. However, self-care is a critical component to living a healthy, balanced life - and providing that for your family. My goal is to help you find balance as an individual- so that you may find healing and joy in this new chapter of your life and confidence in the parent you are.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and have worked with peripartum women and infants for over 5 years. My longtime passion around birth and babies has led me to seek opportunities to support mothers through this complex time. You are an individual and bring unique experiences to motherhood. I have worked with mothers through trauma, addiction, and mental health challenges. In addition, I have completed advanced training on the topics of maternal mental health and grief and loss through the Seleni Institute and StillBirthday.

I work from a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, ensuring you maintain control over your treatment. We will develop a treatment plan tailored to your unique needs and use evidence-based frameworks (like cognitive behavioral therapy) to support you in achieving your own goals. You already have the capacity to heal and grow; It would be my honor to support, teach and reflect as you redefine yourself.
