My name is Hannah Murfet and I am a licensed clinical social worker, based in Peachtree City, Ga. I offer individual and couples therapy for everyone – not just moms! However, my “specialty” is maternal mental health and adjustment to parenthood.  My longtime passion around fertility, birth and babies has led me to seek opportunities to support parents through this complex time. I knew I would be working in this field long before I earned my MSW in 2015.

As a clinical social worker, I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan, from infancy through adulthood. I specialize in supporting parents and couples — two groups that may seem very different but share something powerful in common: their attachment systems are lit up. It is my joy and passion to walk alongside you as you heal from early wounds and release unhelpful beliefs, so you can live with a clear mind, an open heart, and genuine connection to yourself and others.

I am a strengths-based, trauma-informed therapist and human rights advocate. I believe in your power and resilience and want to help you believe it, too. Operating from an attachment and systems lens, we will use evidence-based modalities like internal family systems (IFS), emotionally-focused therapy (EFT) and somatic and polyvagal principles to help restore a sense of safety in the body and within your most important relationships. Together, we work to gently reconnect mind and body — creating space for healing, regulation, and authentic connection.

​I have completed advanced training on the topics of maternal mental health, infant grief and loss and integrative somatic trauma modalities. In addition, I have completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy externship and Core Skills.
