Meet Your Doulas
Ever since I can remember, my reputation has been “the girl who loves babies.” I sought every opportunity to learn about birth and infant development, knowing that one day, I would get to work with women as they welcome their babies into the world. I have been preparing for this time in my life for years and I am so grateful to have arrived.
I gave birth to my first child in 2017. I considered hiring a doula, but opted out because I thought I had enough support- I had my family in town, a great midwife, and I was giving birth at a place who knew me and respected me. While the birth of my daughter was a positive experience, I can’t help but wonder what it would have been like if I had hired a doula. We had a home birth for our second child. And this time, I hired a doula. She was truly monumental in achieving my goal of being more engaged and confident through the birthing process. No matter how your baby is born, I want every mother to feel the full excitement that comes with welcoming a child- without any fear in the way.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and have worked with women and infants for over 5 years. My longtime passion around birth and babies has led me to seek training and experiences in supporting mothers through this complex time of transformation and adjustment. I provide therapy to address perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) and adjustment challenges related to preparing for and welcoming baby into the family. I am honored to support you as you become a "newborn mother."
I live in Peachtree City, GA with my gregarious husband, spirited daughter, laid-back son, and unusually social cats. I am so excited to serve the community in which I live!

After having my first daughter in 2016, I realized that the proverb, "it takes a village..." could not be more true. I thought I had my village in place, a supportive network of friends and family, but I still struggled with an overwhelming sense of mental and physical exhaustion. What I didn't realize at the time was that I was missing a critical link in my village: a postpartum doula. Luckily, with the birth of my second daughter I had the support of a treasured postpartum doula to help and encourage me through my most transformative days. Her presence ensured I had a more bonded and beautiful postpartum experience.
My personal postpartum experiences, along with my previous 7 years as a master level social worker serving women and children, have been the driving force behind my passion to support other mamas through the often overlooked and under-supported 4th trimester. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you welcome a baby into your home and assume your most important role yet: mama (or mama again!).
I live in Peachtree City, GA with my husband of 10 years, my silly, loving girls ages 4 and 1 and a cuddly, food-obsessed 14-year-old beagle mix. I am honored to support families within this community I love and beyond!
